The local men in blue are now wearing the blue and multi-colored puzzle pieces that symbolize autism awareness.
Okarche police are supporting those affected with autism through sales of a new patch as well.
“These patches are extremely limited,” Chief Forrest Smith reported. “All proceeds go to programs that benefit those affected with autism. Show your support and pride!”
The patches can be purchased by sending a check or money order for $15 per patch to:
