A prayer service for Vincent Nickolas Rother will be 7 p.m., Thursday (Jan. 10) and Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Friday (Jan. 11).
Both services will be at Holy Trinity Church in Okarche. Burial with military honors will be in Holy Trinity Cemetery under the direction of Huber-Benson Funeral Home, El Reno. Vince died Jan. 5, 2019 at his home in Okarche.
He was born Dec. 21, 1934 in Okarche and was a lifelong resident.
Vince served in the U. S. Navy aboard the USS Lansing and was a member of Holy Trinity Church.
He had several occupations during his life including owner of Diamond Gypsum in Watonga and farming.
His parents, Vincent F. and Patronella (Alig) Rother; brothers, Gerald Rother and Harold Rother and sister, Virginia Simpson preceded him in death.
He is survived by a son, Rory Rother of Okarche and brothers, Edward Rother and Herman Rother both of Okarche.
