With district championship wins both the Okarche girls and boys advanced on to the winners bracket of the regional tournament set for this weekend in Moss.
The fourth-ranked Lady Warriors take on Soper tonight at 6:30 p.m. followed by the Warriors taking on No. 17 Asher at 8 p.m. for a spot in the regional championship games Saturday.
Okarche’s girls routed Moss 88-34 last week in the district championship game and are now one step closer to returning to the Class A state tournament.
The Warrior boys knocked off Moss 71-30 and are looking to make it back-to-back appearances in the state tournament after a semifinals run last year.
With just one win, each team advances to the area tournament Feb. 27-29 at Bethel Acres.
Two teams advance from each area on to the state tournament March 5-7 at Jim Norick Arena in Oklahoma City.
