The Okarche Trustees approved a proclamation Thursday, March 19 that went into effect at noon. Yukon, Piedmont and Canadian County emergencies were declared by officials last week, and could be extended further.

City employees will be present in such buildings to answer the telephone and emails. Utility bills can be paid by telephone or drive-thru at the local bank, by mail or by depositing checks or money orders in the 24-hour drop box at Town Hall.
