The Prom Parade route for Okarche High School juniors and seniors Friday night has changed.
Brandi Knecht Krittenrink, organizer, has posted the following statement on Facebook.
“Downtown construction and unforeseen safety issues have forced us to alter the parade route. As you can see, this eliminates the east side of town. This is to prevent the parade from blocking Highway 81, three separate times. Those wishing to see the Prom Parade will need to re-locate alongside the new route. Chief Liebl and I are working diligently to keep the Prom Parade moving in a safe and fun manner for all!”
