Okarche seniors, juniors take ride around town

Although the COVID-19 pandemic canceled the prom this year, Okarche High School’s seniors and juniors got to take a ride around town.

With an escort by the police and fire department vehicles, the parade started at the high school parking lot and went through neighborhoods and south on U.S. 81.

Families and friends parked along the parade route and cheered and waved as the parade whisked by, with the sirens of the emergency vehicle escorts blaring.
