An Okarche School Board race, postponed due to the pandemic, takes place Tuesday, June 30 for voters in the school district.

The district includes parts of Canadian and Kingfisher counties.

School Board President Stephanie J. Jeffrey is seeking re-election this year. She has been on the school board 12 years.

She has been challenged by Rob Anderson.

Anderson and his wife Ginger moved to Okarche in 2016 for the school district and to be near a Catholic community to practice their faith and raise their children.

The election would have been on April 7, but the date was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
