Letha Mae Long, age 92, peacefully passed from this life into the loving arms of Jesus on July 5, 2020. Letha was born on January 20, 1928 to George and Mathilda (Tilly) Gleichman (Wojahn) on a farm in Okarche, OK. She grew up with her siblings Georgia Lee, Patsy Ann and David Leo, all who have preceded her in death. She spent much of her adult life in Washington State and spent the last few years living at Spanish Cove in Yukon, OK. She had a variety of jobs over the years including being a medical assistant and real estate agent. She loved to travel, garden, spend time with friends and family and spoil her little dogs. Letha left a legacy of having a strong faith in Jesus and lived her life loving and serving Him every day. She was always very involved in her local churches wherever she lived. Letha had two children, JW Emmons and Beverly Miller (who preceded her in death in 2000). Along with JW, she is survived by her grandchildren Baron Miller, Brandi Hamel and Justin Emmons along with their spouses and children. She also has many nieces and nephews and cousins that all loved her and will miss her. A graveside service will be held on Monday, July 13th at 11 am at Saint John’s Lutheran Cemetery in Okarche, OK.
