Sixth COVID-19 death reported in Canadian County

Canadian County has had the sixth death from COVID-19, and the most recent person to die is from Yukon, the Oklahoma State Department of Health reports.

The county has also moved into fourth place in the state for the county with the most reported cases of COVID-19.

There are 1,106 cases in Canadian County with 908 recoveries and six deaths,the health department reported Tuesday.

Three deaths have been reported in Yukon, while Mustang, El Reno and Piedmont have had one death reported.

On Tuesday, there were five patients being treated at INTEGRIS Canadian Valley Hospital in Yukon. One patient was in critical condition and four were in good to serious conditions, a hospital spokeswoman said.

Oklahoma County has had the most cases reported, 9,593, 102 deaths, followed by Tulsa County, 9,418 cases, 101 deaths and Cleveland County, 2,780 cases, 52 deaths.

Yukon has had the most cases of cities in the county.

Yukon has had 600 cases and 483 recoveries.

Mustang has had 182 cases and 161 people recover.

El Reno reports 167 cases and 134 recoveries.

Piedmont reports 75 cases and 69 recoveries.

Okarche has had 25 cases and 22 people recover.
