A cold front has dropped temperatures and brought chances for thunderstorms Thursday through Saturday, the National Weather Service reports.
After a high temperature of 88 degrees Tuesday, the front moved into the county from the northwest and drop temperatures Wednesday. A north wind of 20 mph will have gusts up to 28 mph.
The high temperature Wednesday was a chilly 55 degrees with a low overnight of 54.
On Thursday, there is a 60% chance for thunderstorms with north wind gusts up to 20 mph. Friday will be a bit warmer with a high temperature of 73 and a 50% chance for showers.
Skies will start to clear Saturday with a high near 81 degrees and a 30% chance for showers. Sunday should be sunny and 79 degrees, the weather service reports.
On Tuesday, El Reno had reported 25.08 inches of rain for the year, and 12.82 inches in the last 90 days.
El Reno had 42.70 inches in 2019, according to the Oklahoma Mesonet website.
Yukon has had 32 inches of rain this year and 17.64 inches in the last 90 days. In 2019, Yukon had 47.22 inches of rain, the Mesonet reports.
