Icy roads are possible on Monday and Tuesday mornings, and a freeze watch has been issued for Saturday morning for Okarche, The National Weather Service reports.

Temperatures dropped across Canadian and Kingfisher counties in a cold front that moved in early Friday. The temperature will drop into the 30s early Saturday.

A freeze watch is in effect for 1 a.m. to 9 a.m. Saturday.

Friday will be mostly sunny with a high temperature of 48. Winds form the north will gust up to 33 mph, the weather temperature reports.

The high temperature on Monday afternoon will be a chilly 36 degrees with a 50% chance for freezing rain in the morning.

Frost and freeze can kill crops and other sensitive vegetation, and possibly damage unprotected outdoor plumbing, the weather service advised.

A high temperature on Saturday in Okarche will be near 57 degrees. Sunday will be a bit warmer with a high of 67, the weather service reports.

Temperatures will plummet Sunday night and Monday morning with a low Monday morning near 32 degrees, the weather service reports.

The low Tuesday morning will be near 28 degrees. Outdoor pipes may need to be wrapped in insulation to prevent freezing.
