Power outages have been reported in the Okarche area Tuesday morning by Oklahoma Gas & Electric Co.
The OG&E website shows 726 outages in Okarche, 434 in Hennessey and another 1,276 in Oklahoma City.
High winds have been reported in the area. Winds from the south will gust up to 39 mph Tuesday with a 60% chance for thunderstorms, the National Weather Service reported.
Winds will shift to the northwest Wednesday and skies will be sunny wiht a high of 57 and winds 8 to 13 mph.
Thanksgiving Day will be sunny with a high near 65 degrees with gusts up to 23 mph.
