The Canadian County Health Department had a Canadian County COVID-19 vaccine clinic on Friday, Jan. 8 at Redlands Community College in El Reno.
This was open to 1,200 healthcare workers, first responders and residents age 65 and above.
Another vaccine clinic will be this Friday, Jan. 15 at Redlands Community College.
Volunteers are helping the CCHD with staffing at large vaccine clinics in Canadian County.
Even those who have tested positive for COVID-19 are advised to get the vaccine because people can become re-infected.
People are asked to get their second dose at the same place they received the first dose.
