Emily was 1st Runner-Up at the Miss Oklahoma High School America Pageant the weekend of Feb. 20.
The pageant is a Scholarship Pageant, including an interview with the five Judges, a volunteer event, modeling in fun fashion and formal/ball gown.
“It was an exciting and fun weekend with many young ladies from around the State of Oklahoma,” said her mother Kelli Neuenschwander.
Emily has also held the title of Miss JR Teen Oklahoma International 2019. Emily is passionate and enjoys speaking about her platform. She spoke to raise awareness of the stigmas that social media creates on teens today. In working with self-esteem projects, she said she wants to educate and advocate for young teenagers to “love the skin that they are in,” and find their self-worth.
“Emily continues to be beyond blessed and forever thankful for her amazing Family, Friends and wonderful Sponsors for their unconditional Love and Support!”
