Hundreds of people turned out Friday, March 12 to the bull sale at the Christensen Angus Ranch east of Okarche.
The cars were parked along the Kingfisher County road about 10 miles east of Okarche for the noon sale.
The sale was a success, said Bryan Christensen, owner. Owner Bryan and Donna Christensen have eight children, three in-laws and three grandchildren.
An auction took place at the Christensen Ranch.
“We sold 100 registered Angus bulls and we sold about 200 registered cows,’ Bryan Christensen said.
He said about 300 people attended as the rain stayed away during the afternoon hours.
“We were lucky,” Bryan Christensen.
The sale is an annual one held the second Friday of March each year. The next one will be in 2022. Bryan Christensen said steak sandwiches were served before the sale and anyone was welcome to attend,” Bryan Christensen said.
He said he is looking forward to next year’s sale.
