Jeff Brueggen will succeed the late Okarche Town Trustee Joe Frisby, who died last year of COVID-19, in the seat that was decided by voters Tuesday night.
Brueggen had 85 votes, 47% to win the seat, the unofficial results from the Oklahoma State Election Board show.
Robert Ford, a teacher in Okarche Junior High and Okarche High School, had 51 votes, 28%.

John Endres had 35 votes, 19%, and Brooke Southard had 8 votes, 4%, for the unexpired two-year term in Ward III.
Frisby died in November.
