Okarche, Regent Prep meet for trip to area tournament

TULSA – Okarche’s boys will play for their playoff lives this afternoon at 3 p.m. against Class A No. 20 Tulsa Regent Prep on the Rams’ home court.

Wellston on Friday dropped Okarche 67-55, putting the Warriors in a win-or-go-home scenario the rest of the way.

OHS (18-8) on Saturday navigated its first elimination game with a 69-48 win over Ripley behind a career-high 35 points from P.K. Harris. Caden Schieber chipped in with 12 points.

Regent Prep beat Dewar 61-44 to keep its season alive.

The winner will advance to the area tournament later this week.
