OKLAHOMA CITY – Okarche has made it to the Big House.

The second-ranked Lady Warriors open the Class A State Tournament today in Oklahoma City vs. Garber. Tipoff is set for 1:30 p.m. at State Fair Arena.

OHS (25-3) and No. 13 Garber (23-3) have not met this season, but are familiar with each other. Both teams played in Garber’s home tournament in early December.

Garber is the Cinderella of this year’s tournament. The Wolverines are the lowest ranked team in the field, but have won 17 in a row and are, arguably, playing as well as any team in OKC.

Okarche didn’t navigate its way through the playoffs unblemished – Vanoss knocked them off in the area title game – but the Lady Warriors have been a serious title contender all season.

The winner of today’s game will likely draw top-ranked Hydro-Eakly in the semifinals on Friday.
