Michael George Annuschat was born on November 11, 1955, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to Andrew and Loretta (Jacobs) Annuschat. He passed away on April 16, 2022, in Kingfisher, OK at the age of 66. Mike graduated from Okarche High School.
Mike farmed and raised cattle in Okarche. He worked at Temtrol, worked in yardwork and landscaping in Okarche. Mike married Jean Ann Stone in Okarche, Oklahoma, on December 13, 1980. They moved to Geary, and his first job was at Geary Senior Citizens, feeding between 60 to 80 people a day. He owned and operated Broadway Café for a year or so until Jean’s health declined, and later worked at Cherokee Restaurant and owned and operated Custer’s Last Stand Café in Concho for 10 years, retiring in 2012. He worked part-time at Tower Café, officially retiring in 2018.
He was a member of All Tribes Baptist Church. He enjoyed collecting China and crystal, raising animals, loved driving his grandkids around town, listening to his jukebox, loved to dance and was a big OU fan.
Survivors Include his wife, Jean Ann Annuschat of Geary, Oklahoma; his children, Nikole Upchego and husband Waylan of Geary, Oklahoma, and Matt Annuschat and companion Natalie Bay of Nowata, Oklahoma; his grandchildren, Cheyenne and Kaiden Annuschat, Jaycie Owings and Logan, Jack Bates, Randi Upchego, Brooklyn Upchego, Harper Berry, Lea Peck and Jacob, Hailey Burkhalter and Dalton, Emma Leyva, Tina LaFountaine, O.J. Birdshead, Kristian Castleberry, Twan Yellowfish and Josh Bates; his great grandchildren, Lucas Peck and Kolby Burkhalter; his brothers, Tom Annuschat and wife Kim of Okarche, Oklahoma, and Gerald Annuschat of Okarche, Oklahoma, as well as many other relatives and friends.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Loretta Annuschat; two children; his brothers, John, Kenneth and Richard Annuschat; and one grandchild.
Rev. Waylan Upchego will officiate at services held 11 a.m. Thursday, April 21, 2022, at First United Methodist Church, 307 W. Main Street in Geary, Oklahoma. Burial will be in Sunset Cemetery in Geary, Oklahoma.
