It’s the biggest night of the year in terms of fundraising for Holy Trinity School, one 125 years in the making.
That night is Saturday, Nov. 12 and the event is the 2022 Holy Trinity School fundraising auction, held this year in celebration of the school’s 125th anniversary.
“We are so excited about this year’s theme – and that we get to celebrate 125 years of our wonderful school,” acquisitions chair Sarah Martin said.
The event features a steak dinner, appetizers and drinks, as well as live and silent auctions, Martin said.
Four silent auctions will be held throughout the evening, from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. That includes an 8:30 p.m. dessert auction.
In addition to a host of big ticket items up for grabs during the live auction portion of the evening, a special package comes courtesy of the Rother family – a dinner and tour of Blessed Stanley Rother’s childhood home.
The Rother Family donation is a separate, online auction currently ongoing, Martin said. To participate in that bidding, go to https://htok2022.ggo.bid/.
We have so many different kinds of items – everything from a Shangri-La Resort golf vacation to local artist Clint Stone donating a painting and everything in between – we have all kinds of unique experiences that you normally wouldn’t get,” Martin said.
Last year’s event raised $120,000 – funds that were used to buy carpet for classrooms, update technology and facility, pay for extracurricular activities and more, Principal Alice Newman said.
“This event is huge for the school and our students,” she said. “We are so grateful for all of the work that goes into making it a success.”
Saturday’s event will be held from 6-10 p.m. in Holy Trinity’s School’s gymnasium. Cost is $40 per person and tickets can be purchased ahead of time or at the event, Martin said. To RSVP, contact Jenny Dickerson at jendickerson86@gmail.com.
Donations may be mailed to Holy Trinity School, P.O. Box 485, Okarche, Okla. 73762.
