Lady Warriors drop a 12-inning battle Tuesday night

After a season-opening win Monday, the Okarche Lady Warriors split a pair of games Tuesday.

Okarche downed Turpin 8-0 Tuesday afternoon and then dropped a game in 12 innings to Chattanooga.

In their extra-inning game, the Lady Warriors were tied 4-4 at the top of the 12th inning. Chattanooga scored five runs and in the top of the 12th, and Okarche answered with two more, but fell in a 9-6 loss.

The Lady Warriors had 15 hits in the game with Chattanooga. Brittney Darst and Belle Beam had three hits apiece.

Next up is a game at Crescent 6 p.m., Friday, Aug. 16.
