The Okarche Warriors fall baseball team was undefeated after knocking off Class 2A Dale Pirates at home on Tuesday night, Aug. 20.

The Pirates lost to Cashion 2-1 in the semifinals of the Class 2A baseball finals in May.

The fall 2024 Warriors won 5-2 over Dale Tuesday behind the pitching efforts from Luke Hill

Easton Roby had two hits in three attempts at the plate, including a triple to drive in two runs in the third inning. Hill surrendered five hits and two runs in the win.

It was an impressive outing for the fall 2024 Warriors baseball team.

They have also beaten a team from the Class A state tournament who they beat in May.

The Wright City win

It was a rematch from the spring Class A spring 2024 state tournament for Okarche baseball, and the result came out the same this fall.

Okarche had a rematch with Wright City, the school they eliminated from the state tournament May 2 in Class A spring ball by a score of 2-1 at Edmond High School.

The team would follow that win with one this fall season on Monday, Aug. 19 with a 6-5 win over Ripley.

Okarche was undefeated heading into their second week of fall baseball with a win over Wright City on a road trip to southeast Oklahoma on Saturday, Aug. 17.

The Warriors beat the Lumberjax 4-2 at Wright City.

Easton Roby’s RBI gave the Warriors the lead 2-1 in the third inning, but Wright City tied the game in the bottom of the fifth.

In the seventh inning, The Warriors’ Colin Hendrickson had an RBI single, and another single by Easton Roby would be enough to seal the victory.

Brett Carnott earned the win on the mound.

Ryder Lykins had two hits.

The Warriors opened their fall campaign with a 7-3 home victory Monday, Aug. 12 and then beat Calumet 2-0 on Friday, Aug. 16.

Roby was the starting pitcher against Calumet and he notched 18 outs. Colin Hendrickson scored both runs for the Warriors.

Brendon Voss took the loss on the mound for Calumet.

Ripley game

Against Ripley on Aug. 19, the Warriors found themselves trailing in the second inning when Ripley’s Dalton Hall homered to left field. Ethan Kirby opened the game on the mound pitching and earned the win.

Easton Roby hit a homerun to give the Warriors a 3-2 lead in the top of the third.

The Warriors trailed 5-3 in the top of the fifth inning but tied the score 5-5 before a wild pitch allowed a go-ahead score by Jett Mueggenborg.

After two opening season wins over Hydro-Eakly, 2-1 on Aug. 12 and then Turpin 8-0 Tuesday, Aug. 13, the Lady Warriors lost to Chattanooga 9-6 in 12 innings.

On Friday, Aug. 16 the Lady Warriors traveled to Crescent and lost to the Lady Tigers 9-1.

The Lady Warriors were scheduled to play Seiling on the road.
