The Okarche Warriors downed the Ripley Warriors 6-1 Thursday to advance to a Friday game. And that means there will be no school in Okarche Friday.

Okarche will play Wright City at 11 a.m. Friday. Wright City eliminated Caddo Thursday.

Hill gave up just seven hits Thursday in the game with Ripley.

Okarche jumped to a 3-0 lead against Ripley through three innings Thursday at Oklahoma Christian University’s Dobson Field.

The score was 4-0 after Jett Mueggenborg scored in the bottom of the fifth. The score was 6-1 in the Okarche Warriors favor in the top of the seventh inning with two outs. Hill had two hits in the game. Brett Carnott, Jett Mueggenborg and Colin Hendrickson each had a hit.

Since Okarche baseball won Thursday school will be out Friday for all grades for a virtual day.
