The Okarche High school tradition of honoring students monthly for their hard work and good character continues this fall.
The high school Lion and Lioness were named for the month of September/August.
The Lion is Trenton Neiderer. He is a senior.
The Lioness is Mackenzie Schneiter. She is a senior.
Okarche High School students are also eligible for student of the month.
The September/October Students of the Month are McKenzie Stewart, a senior, and Kera Avilez, a ninth-grader.
The honors are given to students based on scholastics, leadership, character and responsibility, according to a statement from the high school.
