Charles Matthew Sellers died September 16, 2023, at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City. Services for Charlie will be 10 a.m. Thursday, September 21, at the Life Church in Yukon with Pastors Phil Kemberling and Tim Knox officiating. Burial will follow in the El Reno Cemetery under the direction of Huber-Benson Funeral Home. Family and friends are welcome to wear their OU attire at his funeral.
Charlie was born November 1, 1971, in El Reno. He was the owner of Sellers Trenching and a member of the Life Church.
On August 6, 1994, Charlie and Melissa Weach were married in El Reno. Melissa survives him. He is also survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Hope Sellers of the home and Paige and Levi Ahlden of Okarche; his parents, Mark and Marcia (Wilds) Sellers of Okarche; grandfather, Marion “Sonny” Sellers of Arkansas; brother and sister-in-law, Matthew and Sarah Sellers of Okarche; 2 grandchildren, Collas Ahlden and Beckem Ahlden; niece, Scout Payne; nephews, Merrick Sellers and Rex Sellers; and many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.
His grandparents, Eldon and Bonnie Wilds, and Joy Sellers; father-in-law. Tommy Weach; and cousins, Paul Wilds and Matthew Ferguson preceded him in death.
Donations in memory of Charlie may be made to the American Cancer Society.
