The Okarche sales tax revenue dropped for October, the Oklahoma Tax Commission reports.
The sales tax revenue for October, generated from business primarily in August, was $79,889 compared to $88,335 in October 2022. That is a decrease of $8,446, or 9.56%.
The Okarche use tax for October 2023 was up slightly. The use tax for October was $14,734 an increase of $152, or 0.01% compared to $14,582 from October 2022.
Okarche’s sales tax revenue for September was up slightly compared to the same month last year.
The September 2023 revenue for the town was $70,878 compared to $70,483 in September 2022, an increase of $395 or 0.56%.
The use tax for Okarche was down slightly in September.
Use tax for September was $14,718 compared to September 2022 when it was $17,935.
In August, the sales tax revenue for Okarche was $87,411. It was $76,473 in August 2022.
The use tax for August was $16,639 and in August 2022 use tax was $13,153.
The monthly sales and use tax deposits for cities, counties and towns in Oklahoma is derived from revenues generated two months prior to the deposit month. The September deposit is based on July receipts.
