Eddy Leo Davis of Okarche died April 26, 2024, at Cimarron Nursing Center in Kingfisher. Services will be 2 p.m. Friday (May 3) in the Benson Memorial Chapel with Chaplain Allen Noble of Caring Hearts Hospice officiating. Burial will follow at Holy Trinity Cemetery in Okarche under the direction of Huber-Benson Funeral Home, El Reno.
Eddy was a retired district manager for PSO Electric Company. His job required moving to multiple Oklahoma cities where he was active in local Chambers of Commerce. Eddy was a veteran serving in the U. S. Army. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Tulsa, American Legion, Masonic Lodge and active in Boy Scouts
On June 2, 1951, Eddy and Patty Lou Noblin were married in Eufaula. Pat survives him. He is also survived by a son, James M. Davis and wife, Shirley, of Tulsa; son-in-law, Gary Schwarz of Okarche; brother, Dr. Sam W. Davis of Edmond; grandchildren, Jeremy Schwarz, Aaron Schwarz, Daniel Schwarz, Eric Davis, Kevin Davis and Lorie Aigler; and 11 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mitchell and Velma (Brooks) Davis; daughter, Patricia Deniece Schwarz; brother, Leon Davis; and sister, Louise Davis.
